Regulatory Compliance

Physicians First employs individuals that review, understand and remain current in the constantly changing arena of federal and state regulations that are required in the operation of a physician's office and laboratory.

CLIA Compliance

• Apply for CLIA certificate.
• Develop and update CLIA policies and procedures.
• Provide quarterly reviews of all quality control, quality assurances, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance and function, temperature and humidity chart reviews.
• Prepare laboratories for CLIA inspection.

OSHA Compliance

• Perform annual OSHA training for existing staff.
• Perform drug screens and initial OSHA training for new employees
• Perform mock OSHA inspections
• Provide a written report and consult with the safety officer to identify and correct any deficiencies noted in mock inspection.
• Initial and annual review of OSHA manual.

HIPPA Compliance

• All billing performed in a HIPPA-compliant format.
• Develop and update HIPPA policies and procedures.
• Provide annual HIPPA training for staff
